Lonely Planet rates the Three Capes Track as one of the best walking tracks in the world.
This is currently a 4 day / 3 night walk that you need to book in advance as numbers are limited.
The walk starts and ends at the World Heritage listed Port Arthur Historic Site and a purpose built Pennicott Wilderness Journeys boat delivers you across the water to the start point.
Apart from the stunning sea cliffs, you may also catch sight of migrating whales, dolphins, seals, various bird life and other fauna and flora.
The overnight environmentally sensitive cabins include gas cooking facilities, dining areas and panoramic views.
Millions of dollars have been spent on the track over the last few years with formed boardwalks, gravel and stone steps and seats for walkers to enjoy.
